Mrs. F. M. Cox. of Helton, was se
riously burned Tuesday morning by
the explosion of a nasoline iron. One
of ber arms was Furiously burned and
DUO side of her face burned to some
extent. Mrs. Cox's wounds were dress
ed immediately and she is doing as
weil as <'an be expected. Tho burn
on the arms is the most serious, but
she will, it is hoped, be ut lier self
again in a day or so. Her many
friends in Helton wish for ber a speedy
recovery.

A class of boys in the Bethel
Methodist Sunday school meets
every Sunday afternoon about 3
o'clock at the church and is ready
to do some real worthy work that
counts. lt is the duty of the as
sistant secretary to make out a list
of those absent from the school in
the morning and that list is divid
ed betwen Hie messenger boys in
the'afternoon.
Each messenger boy carries his
number of cards out to the differ
ent absent members nf the Sunday
school, {hereby gelling some good
'raining in the way of service and
al the same time showing those
absent (he interest the Sunday
school has in them. The clues is
planning to get special caps for the
boys at an early date.
