SCHOOL BOARD
HELD MEETING
Decided Yesterday That Work

placing Burned School v
The Anderson board of trustees of
the city schools met yesterday after
noon at 4 o'clock in thc office of E. C.
McCants. superintendent of schools.
This was a call meeting and was held
for the purpose of considering plans
for rebuilding the Glenn Street school,
which -was destroyed by fire a few
days ago. At this meeting lt was def
initely determined that the building
would be rebuilt, work to bc started
at once.
After considerable discussion on the
question, considering the probable?
cost and other matters relative to this
school, thc board appointed a commit
tee to have charge of rebuilding the
Behool. This committee consists of
J." A. Btock. J. M. Paget, J. P. Duck

It was "decided that tho architect,
J. J. Baldwin, he asked to submit

board at another special meeting
which will be belo Friday. He will
alisb tm asked -to provide for two ad
