TTic Boy Scouts' were a feature and when thc Sponsors and Maids came by the crowds went wild. Vhe Anderson fire department and the police department also made quite a brave show in'thc parade. Lost night at 8 o'clock was held a grand reception nt the Hotel'Chiquola where was gathered the beauty and the elect of the city tb tneePthe vet erans and the official ladies of the re union. Th's reception continued for an hour and at 0 o'clo-iftr uta annual Confederate reunion Bail was begun, this event taking place in Maple hall. The music wan furnished for the ball by the military hand? and Anderson's beautiful womer, and Anderson's young men, together with the Ix^ndreda of visitors and the scores Of officers and ladles of the reunion danced- the hours away. The hall lasted until a late hour and it came as a fitting climax to two of the biggest days ? Anderson Una ever km.wu i.-nd to two ?of the happiest day the veterans have ever spent.
