Ijilers Protest?
1'roporty owners on Calhoun si reel,
one of tho busiest thoroughfares ..lu
the city, presented a petition to t-te
Anderson city council yesterday in
which they prayed council to give
them relief from the dust alon.; the
atreet. They offer to pay an ?extra
tax for the added work ou the sprink
ling department if this be neceatfitry,
and they suy that the duct is almost
unbearable. This street leads ? into
the Wllliomston road and necessarily
there is more traffic on the street
than on any other residence street
In the city. Thc people owning homes
lu that part of the city say that th?y
can harly stand the termendous
dust hanging over the street nt all
