Read Carefully.
BBS ; 1. This contest begins Jan. 13, 1914, and closes March 12,
BBS 1914, at 9 p. m.
BBS 2. The Anderson Daily Intelligencer will publish from time to
BBS time the standing of the contestants.
3. Any Lady mrraied or Single is eligible to enter this
BBS contest
4. The right is retained-to alter the rules as occasion may re
BBS quire or settle all questions that may arise.
5. No one who is in way connected with the Anderson Daily
j^ ^ Intelligencer can enter the contest.
6. .All territory within the corporate limits of Anderson will be
BBS known as District No. 1. All territory outside'the corporate limits of

testant is entitled to one nomination ballot good for one thousand
votes.
Contestants may nominate themselves or be nominated by some
friend. It is not necessary to be a subscriber to The..Intelligenter to
enter the contest It is free to all, and there are no obligations what
ever attached to entering.
Readers of The Anderson Dally Intelligencer who cannot partic
ipate actively in the contest themselves are invited to send in the
nomination of some friend whonvthey think could make a winning
