white lady, living oi Reese Bowen 's
place near Plekens,was so badly burn
ed ou the 21st lust, that she (lied
twelve hours after. She and some
children had been silling corn around
the fire, and Mrs. Blraswell was pick
lng up some grains thit had fallen on
the hearth, when her dress caught on
fire. It was entirely burned ofI.
