that Prof. Daniel had boen elected
principal of the school here, but

brother-in-law have missed as many

-Mrs. Levisa Hinton, wife of
S. P. Hinton, of Sampson Mills,
died at her home early this morn
ing, after a long illness with rheu
matism. Her last years wero fell
of suffering, but she bore up brave
lV. She was a nativo of Pickons s
county and moved to this city last
October. A husband and nine
children and mmmy other relatives
survivo her. She was a consistent
member of the Griflin Baptist
church, fiear Pickens. Her body
will be interred in the cemetery of
that church tomorrow at 12
