Until arrangements can be madE for the case of school ibooks in this oflice. Mr. Morris will continue to supply them at his store. Notice will be given in this column when the change takes place. Evidently there is a mistaken idea ab~out the dipenisary school fumd. T1hat from the county dispea nary is oequally divided amongst tho school districts, and that from thme Stato dispensary squally amongst the pupils earolled. If any of i t is used to pay for charts, it is after it is apportioned to sehool districts, Rumor has it that all the schols in the county are not up to the ar oragv fin account of the bad weather Teaichers, trustees, patrons should try toget all to attend, as the mon y next year goes to whore the chiii dron go thisycar, and don't forgot that the school year ends Juune, 30, 1899. Though Is but rarely made out, the g iarly repor t is of equal importarce 4 ith the monthly report. Bt this keeping of the record straight will accrue to your advan taeg in still other ways. If you can talk intelligently of your enro lment-of tre total attendance, of the average attendance, of the time of the entrance of this pupil or the departure of that one,-you can impress your patrons with your business-like way of doing things. The secret of su-,cess with many teacher, has been their devoted at tention to thes minor things,-at least, hey appele so too many.
