T GETS VERDICT IN BIG CASE The jury in the case of M. B. Thompson against A. C. Thompson his week returned a verdict for the urn of five hundred dollars. The laintiff sued for twenty-five thousand lollars. The plaintiff's attorneys at once rave notice of a motion for a new rial. In the opinion of lawyers the verlict would hardly stand owing to the "act that more damage than this amount was proved, when the jury Pound that any damage whatever had ">een proved, and which fact they established by what they did find.
