NEW STORE OPENING
The new store of which Max. L.
Goldstein is the proprietor, was opened
to the public last Saturday, May
19th.
It is located in the new store of the
Spivey block, on the eastward side of
Main street, and the store is the last
one in the row near the alley which
runs from Main street down to the
jraraure of Col. D. A. Spivey.
Mux Goldstein is well-known in
Georgetown, where for rrviny years
he has been connected with one of the
oldest mercantile establishments of
that town. He has had long: experience
in the dry goods business.

A street that is built up with clay
and sand can be plowed and raked until
it presents a fairly smooth appearance
but this does not keep for very
long-. The traffic in the towns will tear
up anything except the hard paved
surfaces and even that will not stand
always without repair.
