at-law of Terra Barefoot, involving
the proceeds of the sale of a number
of tracts of land in Dogwood Neck
township, on a recent salesday.
The land is known as the estate of
Barefoot. On this land Barefoot lived
a number of years and raised fine
crops. He finally died and left a
widow and a number of children, who
were made parties in this action,
brought to foreclose a mortgage.

CIVIC LEAGUE MEETING
The annual election of officers will
!>e held at the regular February meeting
of the Conway Civic League at
the town hall, Wednesday afternoon,
February 7th, from 4 to 5 o'clock.
Interesting reports of the league's
svork will be given at this meeting.
Every member is urged to be present
and pay the dues for the year 1923,
fifty cents. The president has received
a letter from the secretary of
the Georgetown Civic League asking
that a member of the Conway Civic
League visit their organization and
report the activities of this league.
As it is understood, the league has
been doing fine things. Is not this

of Dennis Todd by order of a citizen's
court. You will miss a great deal if
