FARMER TAKES
INJURED HAND
It was a bad accident that hapened
to S. C. Long:, a progressive
armer of Bucks township, last
Saturday morning', when a young
lule he was working decided to break
lose from him, and in the struggle
hat ensued, the leather halters were
rawn through the fleshy part of

ones of his fingers were almost
lid bare and he was brought to Conway
for the attention of a doctor and
o get his wound dressed.
He waited around the drug store
ere several hours last Saturday geting
the l ight medicines for his hand,
le suffers intense pain, but was able
o go home in the afternoon, after
eceiving medical attention.
Such accidents are bad for a farmr
who has to depend upon the work
f his own hands to succeed in his
arm work, especially at this season
f the year when harvesting operaions
are going on.
