recently admitted as a patient at
the Burroughs Hospital. She is im
proving and wants to return to her
home.

association were being urged to get
their tobacco in to the warehouses as
soon as possible and make it easier to
make big deals with the factories and
exporters. |

or waiting to come to Conway.
The hotel at Myrtle Beach, also the
Myrtle Beach Yacht Club, closed on
last Monday. All of the guests ha \
left for other parts. The most successful
season in the history of the
resort was ended.

B. W. M. Floyd and his brother, S.
F. Floyd are now engaged in the building
and contracting business. They
have the contract for the building of
one of the nice school houses in their
section of the country and would start
the work on this building this week.

WILL REMODEL HOME
W. H. Winbourn will remodel his
home, which is located on the corner
of Beaty Street and Sixth avenue.
It is the house and lot formerly
owned by Mr. and Mrs. Percy
Hard wick.
The cottage will be moved back
and extensive additions and changes
made to it so that the whole
will present the appearance of a
mucher larger dwelling and will
look the same as if it had been
erected on this plan at tirst.
IS DIFFFIRKN'T.
The tobacco season is somewhat different
since the co-operative plan of
marketing* the weed came into effect.
The season can be said to be later.
The warehouses opened a fortnight
later than usual, as to both the independent
and the co-operative nouses.
The season will run longer in the Fall,
especially as to the association warehouses.
In many instances in this county,
the tobacco crop has not been finished I
on the grading* and tying. This work
is now going on every day on many
farms finishing up the grading and
tying. This is of course the tobacco
that will be delivered as soon as
finished to the association warehouses.

learn of such mistakes, however,

We try to put out a paper
that is worth the subscription
price, but we do not want to
get subscribers by misrepresentation.
