Mrs. Ella Wilson Baker, widow of *
the late J. Hartford Baker, died
here at the residence of her son on ,
Wednesday, August 30th, 1922, being
advanced in years. Her deatn
was verv sudden and was n aVinMr rn
her children and the entire circle of c
friends and next to kin. She had I
not been feeling well for some hours
that day and expired soon after re- (
clining on a bed. The moment before
she died she made some remarks 1
to her daughter who was in the
home at the time. *
She is survived by her two sons:
J. H. Baker, and Gary Baker, of
Conway, and J. Ernest Baker, of
Jacksonville, Fla.; her daughter, Mrs. 1
Davis, of Horry; Miss Fannie Baker, .
of Conway; Mrs. S. W. Harris, of
Conway, Mrs. R. G. Oliver, and Mrs.
J. VV. Oliver, both of Conway. She .
is a sister of R. G. Wilson, of Con- j
way township. '
She was a woman of high ideals .
