CIVIC LEAGUE FIXES WEEK
The ladies of the Civic League have
set apart the week of June 12 to 17
as clean-up week. It means that
every back yard as- well as every
front yard, every vacant lot and every
alley and street of the town .must bo
thoroughly cleaned up of all debris,
waste paper, refuse, trash, grass rnd
growing weeds. They aim to make
the campaign effective and have it to
apply to each and every citizen or
dweller of the town.
This clean-up campaign happens to
come just before the vi^it of the Stac?5
Press Association. It is inpoitant
this year more than ever that the job
be done thoroughly and extensively.
Conway is usually a clean and good
looking place. When the editors of
the state visit us we must make a
special effort to gei results.
Let all classes of the people come
together now in this movement.
