A number of tracts cf land were
disposed at the court house door on

One of the prettiest things right
now to look at around Mullins is the
large fields of abnr/r'.i rye and fulghum
oats on the "Old Mill" farm of
Jno. P. Cooper. Mi'. Cooper will offer
the seed rve and seed oats for sale
this fall. Mo says he houirht the best
seed obtainable, and he certainly has
fine, early crop of oats and rye.

Conway defeated Marion 10 to 1 in
a fast and exciting game of baseball.
This was the first game played op
the home grounds and was witnessed
by a number of fans, although the
weather was threatening.
Dawsey pitched we!1 and allowed
the visitors only three singles and a
double, while the locals collected 12
hits, two of them being for extra
bases.
