SEX DISGUISING
A woman will never look nice oi
be admired in man's clothing" until it
becomes style for men and women to
dress alike. There is more in fashion
and custom than some of us would
think there is. A man dressed u\
like ,*i woman is not admired by eithei
the women or the men, and a woman
dressed up in the clothing of a man
is anything e'se but nice in the eyes
of those she is trying to ape.
We have seen a tendency in this
and other towns on the part of young
girls to want to dress up in suits
belonging to boy scouts, or in some
castotV uniforms of soldiers evon to
the hat and leggings that go with
these. Some quite younger liian the
others above referred to will dress
up in the styles of older women and
go parading about the streets.
This is ugly conduct in the sig'ht
of older people. The women disgust
the men whether they admit it or
not. The children who do it are usually
known as those who are subiect
to the least control at home, and
the girls engaged in such conduct are
usually the tomboys of any community,
and when their after record is
looked into there is no telling; what
will he found.
There is a difference in conduct that
is nice and in conduct that is anything;
else except nice. We glory in
the young girl th.at will not be caught
in anything that is not nice. Dressing
up in such clothes is evidence of
a tendency that is anything- but admirable.
The time may come when men and
women will dress alike. When that
time comes it will be the fashion for
both sexes to wear the same things
and it will not be wrong- to go that
way. Until such a time comes it is
disgusting; to see the one sex iry tc
steal the styles of the other.

the active affairs of life. He makes
a mistake if he thinks he can get
there by leaps and bounds. He will
never be able to do that, but must
take it step by step. It is highly important
for him to realize that his
beginnings must be small and weak,
and he can make his accomplishments
gre.at and strong only by patient and
unceasing efforts through a long time.

Victor Hugo said that if G<?d had
intended that man should go backward
He would have given hi in an eye in
the back of his head. We are not
certain about that. Our idea i- that
man should go forward unless the
brain that God has given him tells
him that it is best for "iim to go backward.
It was intended that man
should go either forward or barkward,
according* to which way was
best for him a' the time.
o
Advertising does not bring full returns
all at once. This is something
that many business firms fail to understand.
Some men will not invest
in anything unless they can see a big
return all at once. Others make
great success by investing in sucli
things and waiting patiently for the
results they have planned for and feel
confident will come to them.
