The young women were invited into the kitchen and divided into teams and then the business of candy making was entered into. At (1 o'clock a tired but happy crew had filled 100 bags with candy which they sold at the Burroughs high schooi on Thursday. Ambrose delight u!h entertained a number of her friend at her home Friday evening in hi nor of St. Patrick's Day. As the guests arrived they were met by Mrs. Ambrose and Mrs. M. G. Anderson. The home was beautifully decorated in green and white. Later the guests were presented with green and white caps, which added much to the scene of festivity. After this, four table of bridge and four of set-back were enjoyed. The beautiful bridge prize* were awarded to Mrs. A. M. Burroughs and Mr. L. D. Magrath, who held the highest score. The luckv winners of set-back were Mrs. H. G. Cushman and Mr. J. E. Wa-tson. The guests of honor, Mesdames Geo. Palmer and M. C. Woods, were given dainty remembrances.
