This is in pursuance of a contract made between the chautauqua people and a committee of leading citizens here ju<t after the chautauqua had been held last ye&r. Ten days or more before the opening day an advance representative will be here at the service of the committee for two or three days in order to co-operate in organizing* and advertising. Dozier was painfully hurt last Tuesday about noon when he had just alighted from the bus on his return trip from Marion. The wheel ran across the t<er> feet of intervening space and struck Mr. Pozicr a hard blow on the leg. knocking him down on the ground.
