ALMOST AT HAND
Will Be Held This Year on
April 14th, 15th and
17th
1 Information recently obtained shows
that the HadclitTe Chautauqua will be
held in Conway on April i4, 15 and
17. This is in pursuance of a contract
made between the chautauqua
people and a committee of leading
citizens here ju<t after the chautauqua
had been held last ye&r.
Ten days or more before the opening
day an advance representative
will be here at the service of the
committee for two or three days in
order to co-operate in organizing* and
advertising. They will emphasize the ',
importance of a campaign to sell season
tickets* After that, what is
known as the junior worker will be
in Conway for two days just previous ,
to the qpening day and will remain '
hrough the first d?y of the chau-j

conduct study and play hours for the 1

J. L. DOZIER IS
HURT IN STREET
J. L. Dozier was painfully hurt
last Tuesday about noon when he had
just alighted from the bus on his return
trip from Marion. Just as he
hail placed himself by the steps to

ran off from a car that was being
driven by in which was seated Paul
Little. The wheel ran across the t<er>
feet of intervening space and struck

MISS WATSON ENTERTAINS
Last Friday evening the Baptist
intermediate loys were entertained
by their teacher Miss, W:rt n, at
the home of Mrs. J. C. Spivey.
In suite of the weather an enjoyable
evening was spent in playing
games after which refreshments
were served.
