The many friends and associates of
Mrs. Mary C. Grainger, ftrmerly of
Hoiry county, but recently of McColl.
S. C., deplore the unfortunate !
condition of this well known lady and 1
her ultimate death on Wednesday,
February 1, 1922. Some time during
Vist year it was noticed by! those ^
around Mrs. Grainger that her mefi- *
tal faculties were somewhat deranged, 1
and this condition entered a serious 1
stage more and more from time to N
time until about November 10, 1021, '
when she was committed to the State (
Hospital for the Insane at .Columbia, j
S. C. Her condition grew .from bad I
to worse until she expired oh Febru- |
nry 1. Mrs. Grainger was born in .
Horry county in February, 18G3, and
at the time of her death was nenring ,
her 59th year. She lived near Alls- ,
brook, S. C., until a few years airo,
