SCHOOL DEVELOPMENT
The School Development Association
held its regular monthly meeting
in the Burroughs school building
on last Friday afternoon.
Mrs M. G. Anderson, President presides!
over the meeting in her graceful
and easy way.
The first number on the program
was an instrumental solo by Miss

the school and school grounds.
Mrs w. ll. Win burn read a most interesting
paper on teaching the
young to "obey."
I would think that every 'nother
paid very close attention to try and
catch a point, that would help her
with her own individual ease.

Delay in the erection i>f a bui'din^
on 4th Avenue caused a pile oi
rock to lie in the street there at a
point not far from tlie sraratre oi' the
Conway Motor Car Co., for more
than a year.
When tho stone was received the
surface of the lot was till there, and
the rock was laid in the street in
order to allow the removal of the surface,
which at that point is too high
for the site of a building. Now the
dirt has been moved away, and therock
has been placed inside thestreet
line.
