they are prominent in business,

the public mind than others who are

all comes from the habit of man to

many a good action to be left undone,

The good in men is often restrained ;
by talk that is apparently harmless.;
It means more to them than appears

this very town. On a peaceful Sunday
night, when all men should have

those who undertook to violate the
law and as a result one of them is
now dead. His life has been shortened
and cut off in youth .and he is
no more. In this way his punishment
, has been meted out to him in worse
1 measure, if anything, than if he had
been tried for what he did and seni
tenced by a court.
There are other ways of punishment
in this world besides the fines and
penalties imposed by the tribunals of
| justice. Every day we can see the
