No Worms in a Healthy Child ^
All children troubled with Worms have an unhealthy
color, which indicates poor blood, and as a
rule, there is more or I ess stomach disturbance.
GROVE S TASTELESS CHILL TONIC given regularly
for twoor three weeks will enrich the blood,
improve the digestion, and act ns a general Strengthening
Tonic to the whole system. Nature will then
throw off or dispel the worms, and the Child will be

LEWIS LAND
IN PARTITION
Last Thursday was the day appointed
for the holding of a reference
hearing before Mr. W. L. Bryan, Clerk
of the Court in the case of partition of '
the estate lands of the late N. H.
Lewis, of Galivants Ferry.
At the time appointed the Referee
was confined at his residence and expected
to he ill for several days and
he did not hold the reference. The
attorneys representing the ditl'erent
parties, however, compared note.- at
the Courthouse and found that there
was really no dispute between tho parties
in interest and a Consent Decree
will be made up and signed at the
next term of the Court and after that
tho land will be advertised and sold.
Vhe land consists of a tract of
acres, more or less, lying in Pee Dee
River Swamp in Galivants Ferry
Township and is bounded on one ide
by Little Pee Dee River and what is
known as Big Fish Lake. After the
death of H. N. Lewis and before this
suit for partition was brought by the
heirs at law of J. Q. Lewis, all of the
heirs of N. H. Lewis sold a timber
lease for twenty years from June
15th, 1900 to the Eddy Lake Cypress
Company and the latter conveyed this
timber to the Conway Lumber Com
pany, who are still holding the timber
deeds. Later some of the heirs at
law conveyed their shares in fee to the
Lumber Company.
The land will be sold for partition
reserving the timber rights of the
Conway Lumber Company.

BAD FINANCING.
The results of bad money management
never come out until long after.
This is proved by many instances
now that are just coming to
light following the times of inflation,
caused by the war.
