PLEASES MANY
With Their Performance atj

mursuay cvenmy.
Probably the most interesting and
popular number yet presented on the
local lyceum course was the performance
of Davis & Company, magicians,
on Thursday evening:. February 3rd.
Mr. Davis fully sustained the reputation
which has preceded him of being
an entertainer of unusual merit. His
repertoir of tricks was unsusally
mystifying and entertaining.
Possessed of a pleasing stage manner.
Mr. ?avis' explanations and
monologues proved to he very humorous
and diverting. His relations with
the audience were intimate and friend
ly and marked with the personal
touch.
FJ; far the largest audience of the
season was on hand to witness Mr.
Davis' performance. With an audience
equally as large to hear the
?ext number, which will he John
Kendrick Bangs, the famous humor-5
ist, the season will close on a satisfactory
financial basis. The Conway
Chamber of Commerce, under whose
auspices the Lyceum course is being
presented, is very anxious to end the
course without a deficit, and hence,
a generous patronage of the public
will be warmly appreciated.
