farewell sermon at the Methodist
church last Sunday. Rev. Murphy
and family will leave for the new appointment
at Clio, S. C., this week.

next Sunday.

closed its plant last Saturday. It is
understood that the mill will be
closed for a period of about two

that he found Mr. Hardwick engaged

W. L. Richardson died Tuesday night.
The child was about five years old,
and it is said that death was caused t
by a severe case of tonsilitis. The;
many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Rich- <
ardson sympathize with them in their
