FAIR PLAY TO ALL The editor of this paper lias his own individual views on the question of the free range and general stock law as applied to this county by the recent .act of the Legislature. No matter how the editor may feel about it, he intends to give both sides a fair deal, first, last and all of the time. Those who wish to express their views in the subject lvave been given space each week so far as we could spare it, and the paper is still open for that purpose. Argument, however, is what is needed en this subject as we have stated before. -o Many and many a time friendships have been broken in this world by nothing but misunderstanding. It pays to understand. Some people refuse to investigate enough to obtain a full understanding. -o While it is important to watch the tobacco patch very closely at this soacon and be sure to nick the leaves when they are just ripe enough, and no more, and keep down the suckers and the grass and the "weeds, and keep the ]and stirred aa it should be; it is also necessary to look about the barn and get the flues into good repair and the barn as safe as possible against fire. o The tobacco grower should remember that it all does not depend upon the size of the hills and the number of leaves that he raises to each stalk; but there is much in the way the tobacco is gathered and cured in the barn and made ready for the market. 5U / * I f LCJ I s. w.
