NOT ALWAYS HARD.
The way of the transgressor is
hard as it is said; hut not always as
hard as it is expected to be. Time
has never been when no one except
the guilty was brought before the
bars of justice to give an accounting
to the State. There are piosecutions
brought without sufficient founda-1
tion for the charge, and in some
cases it is evident that the prosecu
tor brings the charge for spite only
and not because his rights have been
really invaded.

Some men use the rule of give and
take only in the sense that they give '
only enough slack to get another and
stronger hold.
o
Forces pulling together will exert
the most power. Contrary forces de
stroy each other and are lost.
> Our grand juries usually present
cases at the request of some citizen.
One way of working spite in this
country is to report a man to the ]
grand jury. It is alright to make
such reports when the intention is to
benefit the public; not so when they
are made as a result of snite and to
further the private ends of an indi- j
vidual.

going to the store.
Live stock is the easiest mrney
yet.

Cattle and hogs will grow while
you sleep.

Cotton is not the only thing out of
which our farmers can make money,
nor tobacco eithr r, when the boll
weevil comes in and cripples cotton
growing. Live stock is the right
thing.

from the beginning.
