The Post Office at Conway pays the sum of $1,900.00 annually, and to be eligible for this examination an applicant must be a citizen of the United States, must actually reskl > within the delivery of the office and have so resided at the time the present vacancy oocurcd. Applicants must be twenty-one years and not over sixty-five years of age on the date of the examination. This examination follows the resignation of Power W. From what the Enterprise can learn, it is now a certainty that the Seaboard road is going1 to tap on to the main line and extend its tracks through Horry and on to Conway, JDttle River and South Port, N. C. If our information is correct, the new road will open up and develop one of the richest sections of the State. Not only is there rich and productive land, hut a great deal of valuable timber will be available for commercial purposes. Owing to tlvJ lack of railroad facilities in the southeastern section of Horry, there is lots of pine timber over there which is now so badly needed in the gieat building boom that is on all over the country. With a railroad running through the section from C< nway to Little River and on t> South Port, Horry has a bright agricultural future.?Mullins Enterprise. o POSTMASTER EXAMINATION.
