Among: the prettiest social events of the season was the marriage of Miss Kathleen Sessions, youngest daughter of Mrs. B. J. Sessions, to W. O'Dell Davis of Geeorgetown, We<lnesday afternoon, Nov. 12th, at 5 o'clock at the home of the bride's mother, on Laurel Street. The whole lower floor of the home was decora ted in potted plants and white chrysanthemums. In the front parlor the altar was erected with a back ground of Southern smilax and flowers. Large white columns banked with ferns cut off the altar. The bride and bridegroom stood under a large white wedding bell made of chrysanthemums. The white tapers burning on the improvised altar added a soft glow to the decorations. The wedding music was played by Mrs. L D. Magrath, who used both Mendelsohn's wedding march and the wedding march from Lohengrin. Just before the entrance of the wedding party. Mrs. J. A. Norton sang, "It Seems to Me" and "I Love You." > As Mrs. Magrath began Mendelssohn's wedding march little Miss Bessie Louise Stalvey dressed in a fairy frock with butterfly bows of , pink and little Sidney Goldfinch in a suit of white, cousins of the bride, came down the stairs and roped off an aisle with white ribbons. Then came the maid of honor, Miss Ella Sessions, only sister of the bride, dressed in a dainty dress of flesh organdie and wearing a large picture hat, and carrying a bouquet of white chrysanthemums. Then came the little ringbearer, Miss Sarah Sherwood, in a beautiful fairy dress of white flesh trimmings, carrying the wedding ring in the heart of a white chrysanthemum. As the music changed to the wedding chorus from Lohengrin the bride entered, leaning on the arm of her brother, Benjamin E. Sessions, and was met at the altar by the bridegroom and his best man, R. C. Davis, Jr., of Georgetown, brother of the bridegroom. The bride wore a lovely gown of georgette and charmeuse, made to show her girlish beauty. Her veil was caught by a bandeau of pearls and orange blossoms. The bride's only ornaments were a platinum brooch set in diamonds, the gift of the bridegroom, and a pair of bracelets which were presented to her by the bridegroom's father and had been his gift to the bridegroom's mother on their wed ding day. Goldfinch, K. A. Burroughs, J. K. Stalvey and H. L. ( Scarborough. Miss Jessamine Burroughs presided over the table where | the souvenir cake boxes were given to the guests. Misses Laura Jenkins and Grace Ha&elden were in the back hall and registered the guests in the wedding book as they came from the dining room. The many beautiful and handsome gifts show the esteem the people of Conway have for this popular young couple. "PAIR" SHOWER. Friday afternoon, November 7th, from four to six o'clock, Mrs. H. L. Scarborough entertained in honor of Miss Kathleen Sessions, with a "pair" shower. The guests were ask ed to come in pairs and each gift was of course, to be a pair. These were tied in packages and hidden all around on the first floor of the Sdarborough heme, the guest of honor was instructed to hunt until she found every package but that not one could be opened until its mate had been found. From room to room the bride went, followed by the guests, and hunted until all were found, and a collection of beautiful gifts awarded her hunt. After the packages had all been opened, Mrs. Scarborough asked the bride-elect to lead the guests into the dining room, where a beautiful table was set.
