The State Highway 'Department is after all persons who own automobiles and have failed to apply for the license to operate their cars during 1919. A letter has been addressed to Sheriff Jas. A. Lewis about this and violators of the law will have to look out. The law provides now that all licenses shall expire on Dec. 31st after they are issued, and annual licenses shall thereafter be issued between January 1st,, and February 1 sf. of oneh venr. At last accounts they were all improving. o DEATH OF MRS. LUCY MARTIN. Mrs. Lucy Martin died from Influenza on February 7th, HMD. Dr. L ' K. Stalvey was called to attend he) ! when she was first taken with tin < disease on February 1st. Every thing possible was dene for her with out avail. She joined the Missionary Daptis! church in early life, and was a true faithful Christian. On September > 11), 11)17, she was married to Mr. 1). J. Martin.
