HAD SERIOUS DIFFICULTY.
In the Tabor section last week j
there was u serious difficulty bo- |(
tween Garfield Grainger and John 1
Grainger, two brothers, and a son of
the latter. The matter goes back to J
a law suit over a piece of land belonging
to Bruce Grainger who is '
now in the United States army.
John Grainger claimed to have leas- {
ed it from Bruce Grainger, and there
is a dispute about the line between <
this land and a tract conveyed to Gar
field Grainger. John Grainger got i
an injunction against Garfield
Grainger and at the time Garfield \
Grainger had some beds in a house 1
on the disputed land, and after the
order of injunction had been served
in the case, he left the things there.
Last week Garfield Grainger alleges
that John Graniger went to breaking 1
up the beds with an axe and throwing
the pieces over the fence into
the woods. When Garfield Grainger
protested against this a serious difficulty
ensued and the son of John
Grainger shot a bullet through the
fleshy part of the thigh of Garfield
Grainger inflicting a flesh wound
fortunately.
Warrants have been issued from
the magistrate court as a result of
this act and It .ill doubtless come
up in court for settlement later on
at the Septciabet te rm.
