C., was in Conway one day last week. * The boys who left here last Monday morning for Camp Wadsworth are all farmers according' to the list as posted up by the local exemption hoard. Some of them, and perhaos all, so far as we are informed had 'o leave their crops at a time when those crops were almost ready to lay by for harvest. Some of them were tobacco farmers and we have heard of some who had brothers to 1< ave it with. All honor is due to these boys who arc leaving all they have behind to go and fight for their country. NOTED WOMAN DIES AT GREAT OLD AGE .eaving a Large Number of Lineal Descendants in This County. Amanda P. Bryafi died at the old tomestcad in Simpson Creek townhip, on Monday, July 9th, being at he time of her death in the 90th ear of her age. She would have been lincty years of age next January 919. The funeral exercises and inermcnt took place on Wf dnesday of ast week at the family cemetery in Simpson Creek town, hip, attended by i large concourse of relatives and riends of the deceased. The funeral xercises were condu ted by the Rev. Mullineaux of the Loris Metholist circuit. The dot eased is survived by one ;on, Mr L. T. Bryan of Simpson beck, four daughters: Mrs. Solon lore, Mrs. Kllen Hardee, Mrs. George Hardee, all of Longs, S.
