OBITUARY.
On May 4th, 1918, tho death angel
visited the home of J. M. Thompkins
and took his loving daughter, Stella.
She was horn September 2:ird, 1897,
and departed this life May 4, 1918. j
i She had been sick about fuor months.
| She bore her suffering with patience
and often told us how ready she was
to die. All was done to stay the cold
icy hand of death but the Lord knew
best and called her home to live with
him. Dear Stella, your life here on
earth was short, but we can go to
meet you where there will bo no more
parting, no more sorrow, and pain
She leaves a father, one brother and
five sisters and a host of friends and
relatives to mourn her loss. She joined
the Poplar Methodist church in
' early life and lived a faithful menij
