labor at the mills tend plants. The
work on the cantonments and other 1

is said to be of Indian origin, and

Last week was warm and typical of
Spring. So far the predictions of the
Dutch weather profit have wine to
pass, and especially the early Spring
has shown itself. The past Winter
gave us some of the worst weather
this section ever had, and now we are
getting paid off with some of the
best weather we have ever seen.

Goldfinch, of Conway, S. C; Wm, D.,
of Adrian, S. C.; George F., of Allen,
S. C.; Mary Ida Shepard, of Fond( u-Lac,
Wisconsin; Charles Albert,
of Cussctta, Ga. Harry B., of Arlington,
Texas; Thomas Arthur.

While rather delicate she enjoyed
fairly good health until last

gave way, and while she recovered
somewhat from an acute attack she
had then, yet she was . taken again a
week or so before her last, and
chough every thing* was done that
kind hands, loving hearts and trained
medical skill could do, yet on Monay

her head upon her breast us she was
sitting; up with her loved ones
around, seeming much improved.
Vacant is her place in the home,
and sse will be missed for many a
day to come, because wife and mother

and sorrowing ones, sustain, guide
and comfort them, and grant that
they may so live and serve God as to
meet the sainted loved one before
them gone in the bright and happy
Heavenly home.
