From what we can i learn the registered men in this county were remarkably prompt in filing them back with the local board. * * The family of Mr. J. E. Spivcy, local fuel administrator, has written the coal companies about the delayed shipments to dealers hero and it is hoped that this will result in some definite relief in a short time. His remains arrived here and were accompanied by members of the Red Cross to the home of his father, B. F. Port, near Tort Harrvlson. His death evidently resulted from the epidemic of Meas les and Meningitis which has attack- h ed many of the soldiers at Camp t Jackson during the past two or three o months.
