OBITUARY.
Death visited the home of Frank
Hammond and took away the wife and
%
mother. She was very dear to the ^
family. She was near the age of sev- ^
onty yeai*3.
In early life she joined the Methodist
church at Poplar and ever lived
the life of a faithful and consecrated
Christian. She became quite happy
at different times during her sicku&ss
and said she knew that if shedfied
she would he better off than in this
wor'd of pain and sorrow. When she
left this life she went as if she were
peacefully asleep.
She was the mother of five child. i
rtn, four of whom are dead, and but '<
ore living, Miss Sillar Hammond. She
is also survived by a husband, ono
[ brother, and by a host of relatives and
kind friends who mourn her Mss. Bat
those who mourn for her mourn not
as those who have no hope. We feel
that she is listening safe in the aarjns
ot Jesus, she was a most loving vfcife,
and a kind and loving mother. 'She
was ever ready to do all that she could
for the pleasure and comfort of her
children.
Sleep on dear mother and take your
rest, I will meet you by and by.
Her Loving Daughter,
?Sillar Hammond.
