are one country and we rise as one
man to join in this fight for freedom.
Before the European war is ended,
America is likely to have at least I

will live to come back crippled and

The crime against Belgium and
her people, especially her children
and young girls, is something which
Germany will never he able to pay
for; but for one we are in favor of
making that empire come as near to
paying for it as it is possible to do.
Such things as those which Germany
has done in that once independent
little country are not the subject of
estimation in dollars and cents; but
it is possible to inflict just punishment
on Germany and her warlords,
and we, for one, long to see it
done.
