WHY YOU ARE NERVOUS
The nervous system is the alarm system
of the human Ixsiy.
In perfect health we hardly realize that
we have a network of nerves, but when
health is ebbing, when strength is declining,
the sauic nervous system gives the
ahum in headaches, tiredness, dreamful
sleep, irritability and unless corrected,
leads straight to a breakdown.
To correct nervousness, Scott's Kmulsion
is exactly what you should take; its
rich nutriment gets into the blood ai d
rich blood feeds the tiny nerve-cells while
the whole system responds to its refreshing
tonic force. It is free from alcohol.

M. W, WALL LEAVES
AFTER SEVERAL YEARS
Horrv County loses one of its best
workers this week when Prof. M. YV.
Wall will go to North Carolina to accept
a better position which has been
tendered to him in that State, lbhas
lived in Horry for the past several
years and filled the position < f
Harm Demonstration Agent with
signal ability and always with a
single aim to advance the agriculture
and industrial interests of this
section. He has spared no pains in
his efforts to introduce among the
growers the newest and most profitable
plans of cultivation, and has
been responsible for the introduction
of several new crops that were not
planted before, and which are no.v
making profit for the farmers of the
county.
Mr. Wall says that the county is
so large that there should be at least i
two agents to look after the intc.ests
of the farmers. One should b<
located at Conway, and one at Lor.i.-1
or Aynur. One of the great things i
to be advocated in this county at
this time is the raising of more and ,
better live stock. And the farmers
in every section should be taught the
best methods of dealing with hogj
cholera and other animal diseases. '
Many friends regret to see him
leave this section.
LEMONS WHITEN AND
BEAUTIFY THE SKIN
I
Make this beauty lotion cheap-j
ly for your face, neck, arms
and hands.
At
the cost of a small jar of ordinary
cold cream one can prepare ifull
quarter pint of the most wonderful
lemon skin softener and complexion
beautifier, by squeezing the juic<
:>f two fresh lemons into a bottle containing
three ounces of orchard
ivhite. Care should be taken to strain
lie juice through a fine cloth so no
emon pulp gets in, then this lotion
,vill keep fresh for months. Every
voman knows that lemon juice is
ised to bleach and remove such blemishes
as freckles, sallowness and tan
ind is the ideal skin softener, whiten.
;r and bcautifier.
Just try it! Get three ounces of
orchard white at any drug store and 1
wo lemons from the grocer and make
ip a quarter pint of this sweetly frafrant
lemon lotion and massage it
laily into the face, neck, arms and
lands. It is marvelous to smoothen
ough, red hands.?adv. <
