the United States has there been
such need for technical men. The
: places of clanger in modern wars

service. An adequate food supply
is absolutely essential. Engineers
are needed at home to carry
on the work of transportation and
utilization, as well as to handle
the engineering problems of the

At a conference of College Presidents
in Washington, I). C., on
