Stalvey and introduced to the guest of honor, wheie \!iss Kathleen Sessions took them in charge and escorted them to the side porch where the punch bowl, hidden in a bower of roses and ferns, was presided over by Mrs. J. A. Norton. After the guests had assembled cards were given them with instructions 'to illustrate the "Mother Goose" rhymes written on the caul.The prize for the most ridiculous drawing, a celluloid goose, was won by Mr. Dusenbury' Anderson. Tile young ladies were then hande* slips of paper on which was a current topic, the young men were giv< r cards with numbers corresponding and in this way got their partners fo? the progressive conversation which followed on the lawn. Each youi g man was given three minutes to < 1.cuss the subject his partner held, he then had to move on to the next girl Afterwards the young ladies were asked to vote on the best conversationalist and Mr. J. E. Watson was presented with an ash tray, the prize. Refreshments of strawbrery crean and cake with green icing was the: served buffet fashion on the lawn. The guests were next asked back the living room where a NationHi contest was entered into. Mis>< Nellie Rheuark and Mr. Whiteford | Sessions won the little American flag, the prize in this.
