Owing to the reduced attendance
brought about no doubt by the present
high cost of living; the Pastime
theater is now giving shows on Tues
days, Thursdays, and Fridays of
each week, and there arc no shows on
the other evenings of tlie week. But
there is a good program, one of the
best that can be obtained, as P&tria
appears on Thursday nights, and a
Paramount picture at each of the
other performances. The Paramount
pictures are as good as there is mach
and each consist of five reels.

County this year promisse to be a
great success, from the standpoint
ov large production per acre plant d,
and fiom the standpoint of high

Myrtle Beach Farms Company have
a large acreage, about 1100 acres, and
there are hundieds of individual
planters, and we know of no growei
who has failed to produce a fine crop
of them. They are about ready to
begin harvesting.
