The front built of white compressed brick presents a. vrey fine appearance and the arrangement inside certainly offers an inviting situation. The town is to be congratulated in the addition of such a structure. i The Bank of Tabor is one of the oldest institutions of its kind in the county and bids fair to be one of the leading in the future. Steady has been its growth from the beginning and the institution stands ready to serve the people in a fiduciary capacity. The cashier, Mr. N. P. Jenrette, is a man of pleasing personality, capable and strict to attend to the duties placed upon him. He is hacked by a substantial board of directors consisting of the following, ft. M. Garrell, D. F. McGougan, L. Wright, C. W. Brown, S. D. Bryant and J. P. Mills. The new tobacco warehouse will soon be in process of erection. Mr. D. J. Hughes, one of the leading business men of Tabor, has contracted to complete the structure in advance of the season. The building will be elected on a lot in the rear of Harrelsoit's Pharmacy, a place convenient and entirely suitable for the business. Already both of the warehouses have been rented, under written contract, to substantial tobacco men, who are responsible. Tabor has been in need of a hall that might be used as an assembly hall for any and all meetings of farmers or business men and to meet this need, Mr. N. P. Jenrette, cashier of the Bank of Tabor, is plannnig to turn the old Bank of Tabor building into such a hall. He intends to equip the place in an attractive mannei and extend its use to the fanner* and business men without cost. This certainly extends a spirit of co-operation and a number of the farmers have already expressed their appreciation. The people of Tabor welcome the new Baptist preacher, Rev. A. T. Rogers and family to their midst and 'already the entire family have won 'many friends. Mr. Rogers is a genuine Christian gentleman, a thoughtful preacher and a man thoroughly interested in his work. 'The management of the Hotel Panama is having certain attractive improvements made in and around the hotel which will better meet the needs of the traveling men.
