We did not expect that every one of our friends could possibly respond at the same time. It is never that way. One man has his money corning in at one time, while another will be in position at another time. So we ay* taking this opportunity to say that we still need every cc.nl that is due anu those who have iwt yet attended to this matter arc respectfully requested to look at t>ie label and send us currency, a pensoral check, or money order, using cither the blank form wo tare printing ftor that purpose, or on "their own nofce paper, being careful to give the nauto and the post office at which you aire receiving the paper. A receipt win be mailed you promptly. The cost of paper and other materials used In the printing business is entirely tw> high to justify our using stamps to mail out notices or statements. The situation is well known to each and every subscriber as we have fully explained it in many recent issues. * * The ejection last week passed off in this county without any disorder of any kind. There was considerable cheering and hurrahing for favorite candidates in front of the bulletin board on Tuesday night, but all of the jests were given and taken in a friendly way.
