An Ordinance ;to Regulate the Alarkets and Police of the Towr

Privilege Taxes to be paid by any Person or Persons, Corporation
or Corporations Engaged, ^or Intending to Engage in an>
Calling, Business, Occupation or Profession, in whole or in part,
within the said Town; and to fix tthe Punishment for the Violations
of any of the Provisions Thereof.

Conway in Council Assembled: v

That no person or persons, corporation or corporations, shall
engage in, carry ton, or prosecute any calling, business, occupation
or profession, in whole or in part, within the Town of Conway
(save those excepted from the imposition of license by the
Statutes and lawsvof the State) at any time between the first day
of July A. D., 1916, and the first day of July, A. D., 1917, without
first'having paid to the Town a License therefor, according to
the following schedule and restrictions and provisions herein
stated:

were hanged first and then Jose Rangel
and Juan Castillo.
The four men were calm. Ranfei
smoked a cigarette as the noose was
adjusted. None would say anything
except Garcia, who exclaimed as he
was led to execution: "I hope Go
will forgive my enemies."
