Clifford have placed his name before the people of Georgetown county for the nomination of rcpre tentative in the legislature. Mr. Clicord has had consdierable experience with legislative work, havinf formerly represented his home j town in the Vermont Legislature foi several terms. After changing his residence to the State West Virginia he was elected to the Legislature in that State and served his people for some years. Mr. Clifford, as we all know, is at the head of the great Atlantic Coast Lumber Corporation, of Georgetown. We understand he is not seeking this election, but if the people of Georgetown county wish the benefit of his long experience and large business training he is willing to make a sacrifice of his personal feelings and give the city and county of Georgetown the benefit of his services.
