His sermon at the Baptist convention

park Intensifier
Nothing so Annoying to the
Plug Trouble
Often the spark is not hot enough
to fire the charge in the cylinder
properly. More often the plug won't
spark at all because it has become
fouled with soot or grease or the porcelain
is broken. For these reasons
numerous spark plugs have been designed.
The aim has been, first, to
increase the heat of the spara; second,
to better guard against short circuiting
in the plug. Efforts in this line
have not been entirely successful.
The logical answer is the Jubilee
Spark Intensifier. It greatly intensifies
the spark in even a new plug. It
insures a hot spark in an old plug that
has refused to five. It is 11 nveventive
as well as a cure?a positive guarantee
against all spark plug troubles.

'HARD RIDING IN
HUNT FOR VILLA
U. S. Cavalrymen Are Making
Remarkable Records in
the Mountains
OVER SNOW RAILS
AT HIGH ALTITUDES
Horses Show Fine Mettle
|
And Are Kept to Best
Condition.
A dispatch from the border says:
A cavalry officer coming in from an
80-mile ride said:
"I never saw a country where men
could ride as hard without sleep and
still keep well as in these mountains."
This officer had ridden on a scouting
trip with the 250 picked men of
the cavalry.
"It seems to be the air at the altitude
of 7,500 to 10,000 feet that keeps
the men up," he added.
The troopers in the course of their
80 miles in two days made a 55-mile
ride, literally up and down the tops of
' a ridge of mountains. The 55 miles
j was made in 30 hours, through canyons,
through heavy snow at 10,000
foot high, and up and down mountain
sides. There is neither road nor trail.
After taking their mounts safely
through, this ride the cavalrymen
made a 25-mile dash across country
to head off the possibility of a Villa
rally at a place which has been under
suspicion for several days. In the
mountain work the cavalrymen let;
their horses over the worst places,
'l ive horses have shown tha' they can
climb almost any mountain that a
man can ascend.
Pride in their horses has become a
passion with the cavalrymen in their
mountain riding. "Our horses," one
officer asserted, "are just as good today
as when they crossed the border.
They are fit for a charge right now.
Just let us get on Villa's trail and we
will get him sure."
An officer tells how he retreated
from a house where he believed he
was about to discover a Villa bandit.
It was during the search of a mountain
district where there was a sus

until his wounds healed.
Many houses were under search
when this officer saw what he took to
be a wounded man lying in bed in a
I
room. He swung open the door, i
tol in hand, and hurried across th<
room. The man in bed in the very
poor light looked more than ever like
a wounded bandit. The officer started
to turn down the blanket covering the
Mexican, but after one look he fled.
He had discovered a case of smallpox.
The wonder of cavalrymen now
searching the mountains is an American
cowboy scout who rides with the
troopers in these cold altitudes clad in
what the soldiers say is only a thin
cotton shirt.

RELIABLE REMEDY
RESTORES KIDNEYS
I
For many years druggists have
watched with much interest the remarkable
record maintained by Dr.
I Kilmer's Swamp-Itoot, the great
kidney, liver and bladder remedy.
It is a physician's prescription.
Swamp- Root is a strengthening
medicine. Dr. Kilmer used it for
years in his private practice. It helps
the kidneys, liver and bladder to do
the work nature intended they should
do.
Swamp-Root has stood the vest of
years. It is sold by all druggists on
its merit and it will help you. No
other remedy can successfully take its
place.
Be sure to get Swamp-Root and
start treatment at once.
However, if you wish first to test
this great preparation send ten cents
to Dr. Kilmer & Co., Binghamton, N.
