-- NOTICE
TOBACCO GROWERS.
i
Wo are fearful that a great, maily.
fobacco plants have been killed from
the recent cold spell. Our advice to
everybody is to get more tobacco
seed ami resow their plant beds
then sprinkle a light coat of fine
stable manure over the bed after the
seed have been sown. Would advise
wetting the bed thoroughly after the
weather turns warmer so the seed
will come up quickly as we have
plenty of time to make tobacco plants
provided the seed are sowed at once.
We do not advise the digging up of
old beds to rcsow as a large number
of the plants may not be killed.?
