whiskey in violation of the Prohibition
law. It is understood they have
all made application for bail. The

A steamer trunk en route from
Jacksonville to Charleston sprung a

Mortality statistics for the city of
Charleston show a ratio of 20.90
deaths per 1,000 population for 191b
which is an increase over 1914 of 1.42
per 1,090 of population. Deaths

of 15.15 per 1,000 of population contrasted
with 15.92 per 1.000 for 1914.
Colored deaths for 1915 show a ratio
of 34.90 per 1,000 of population contrasted
with 34.00 per 1,000 for 1914.
