THIRD ANNUAL FAIR
. !
COMES TO A CLOSE
(Continued from page one.)
Hiis was the day on which the Ford
touring car would be given away to
the holder of the lucky ticket whose
number should correspond with the
one drawn out of all of the mass of
coupons. The winner was M. W. Hinson,
the contractor and builder. The
machine was presented by lion. Hal
L. Buck.
The gate receipts amount to about
$900.00. At last accounts the funds
paid in for concessions and other privileges
had not been counted up accurately.
A statement of the exact
figures of income and expense will no
doubt be published later after all of
the items have been brought together.
Taking all in all the .'Ird annual fair
was a success considering the means
it hand with which it had to be accomplished.
The secretary, Mr. J. W.
Little was untiring in his efforts to
make the fair a success, and his work
with that of the other directors and
officers made the fair what it was.
