Life is the greatest mystery.
o
Love is the supreme power. The
bible says that Got! is love.
o
Never be too sure that you understand
the motives of another.
o
We know of some men and women
who had rather go dirty than clean.
Men will do wrong in the face of the
belief that there is a hereafter.
o
The evil doer acts in the dark. Good
deeds are like the open sunshine.
o
Every thought that you have may
result in some act some time in your
life. Be careful what you think.

smiles on the people.
Some have forgotten that the brain
was intended to think out problems
and give the right direction to actions.
o
Truth is one of the most consistent
things in the world. It is always like
itself. It never wears any disguise.
o
Conway has made rapid strides as
a town during the past ten years, and
during the next ten, we expect to see
greater things than ever.
o
Go to >our neighbor with your
grievance and have it out with him,
face to face. Don't sneak around and
try to ruin him without first giving
him a chance to make amends.
o
The great reason for law and punishment
for crime, is to deter others
from committing like offenses. It
furnishes but little consolation to the
person who has been wronged.
?II?
Farmers all over the South listened
at the advice which was freely given
last Winter and Spring to materially
reduce the cotton acreage. As a result
of this and perhaps other causes
acting with it, the staple is bringing
a good price this Fall. The farmers
are no doubt glad that they listened
to reason this time.
o
How many graduates do you know
who will write a letter and spell every
word correctly, who will cross every
4,t" and dot every "i," and p>t every
punctuation mark in the right place,
and supply periods at the right places?
They arc few and far between
these days.
